About The Position

The Patch/Finish Roller Operator operates a roller to compact asphalt and produce a smooth, finished surface. The position works closely with the paving crew to maintain quality, safety, and productivity on the job site. The role is based at 4725 E Cartier Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89115, and involves travel within and outside the state. Overtime, long hours, and weekend work may be required. Work takes place outdoors in hot, physically demanding conditions.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience using a patch roller.
• Ability to work long hours, including weekends when required, and travel within and outside the state.
• Strong attention to safety and teamwork.
• Ability to climb on and off equipment and perform physical job duties.
• Ability to work outdoors in hot and physically demanding conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate the patch roller to smooth and finish the material.
• Follow the paving crew to achieve proper smoothness.
• Monitor the quality of the finished pavement.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report any issues.
• Follow all company and job site safety procedures.
• Assist with other crew duties as needed.
