About The Position
The Roll Shop Utility position at Nucor Steel Arkansas in Blytheville, AR is responsible for ensuring a safe work environment, performing daily crane inspections and operations, assisting in Roll Shop & Mill maintenance, and accurately completing paperwork. The role also involves learning to navigate the RMS system, greasing chocks and updating the RMS system, and updating the RMS system when wear rings are installed. Safety is paramount in this role, and candidates must demonstrate the ability to uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards.
Requirements
- 1 year minimum of Hot Mill production or roll Shop Experience in the Steel Industry.
- Ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Nice To Haves
- Overhead crane experience.
- Experience in machine Shop CNC operations.
- Experience with precision measurement equipment.
Responsibilities
