About The Position

The Automation Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining, troubleshooting, upgrading, and optimizing our automated systems. The Automation technician will provide technical expertise, promote Safety, Quality, Cost, & Reliability that support World Class Operations and demonstrate leadership through the maintenance strategy.

Requirements

  • Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, rotating shifts and scheduled and unscheduled overtime
  • Two-year college degree or other education training and certifications
  • Demonstratable experience with PLC Programing, HMI’s, Wonderware and/or FTVIEW, scaling instrumentation, PID loops

Nice To Haves

  • Four-year college degree or other education, training, and certifications.
  • Emerson/GE & Control Logix’s Experience
  • Experience commissioning & trouble shooting AB & ABB Drives
  • Working Knowledge of common protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, ControlNet, Modbus, Profibus, etc.)
  • Familiarity with NFPA 70E-Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace
