About The Position

The Roll Form Operator performs operating duties and contributes to the department as directed by a supervisor. The position operates an automatic roll form line producing a single high-volume product, performs basic adjustments and maintenance, checks product quality, maintains records, and keeps the work area and equipment clean and orderly.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform required duties to operate an automatic roll form line producing a single high-volume product.
• Check and adjust mill misalignment; make simple tooling changes or assist with complete tooling changes and setups.
• Conduct general maintenance, including lubrication and butt welding.
• Detect and report defective materials and improper or unusual conditions to appropriate supervision, and check product quality.
• Maintain records, schedules, and orders.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
