About The Position

This position performs operating duties and contributes to the department as directed by a supervisor. The operator runs an automatic roll form line to produce a single product in high volume, checks and adjusts mill alignment, conducts maintenance, and monitors product quality. The role also involves maintaining records and keeping the work area and equipment orderly.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate an automatic roll form line to produce a single product in high volume.
• Check and adjust mill misalignment.
• Make simple tooling changes or assist with complete tooling changes and setups.
• Conduct general maintenance, including lubrication and butt welding.
• Detect and report defective materials and improper or unusual conditions to the appropriate supervisor.
• Check product for quality.
• Maintain records, schedules, and orders.
• Keep the work area and equipment clean and orderly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
