About The Position

We are seeking Role Players to support a military tactical training exercise. Role Players will be required to stay on script for the scenario, wear appropriate clothing and headgear, and operate various military weapons systems including firing marking cartridge weapons, paintball type weapons systems, and blank ammunition after being instructed on safe use. They will act as Opposing Force (OPFOR) and may be engaged with marking cartridge weapons. Role Players must be physically fit, able to work in austere environments and during hours of darkness, and be familiar with basic weapons handling and safety. They must also be able to be restrained/zip-tied for prolonged periods, be comfortable with trainees frisking and searching them while restrained, and be able to stand and lay prone for extended periods with or without restraints. Participants should expect to be shot at with non-lethal marking ammunition (Simmunitions, UTM, or paintballs) while wearing personal protective equipment, including a full-face helmet, throat guard, and groin guard.

Requirements

Be 18 years or older.
Be a US Citizen and can provide proof.
Have a valid driver's license.
Be physically fit with no physical limitations or preexisting medical conditions that would preclude them from working in an austere environment and during the hours of darkness.
Be familiar with basic weapons handling including safety.

Nice To Haves

Military/Law Enforcement experience/background preferred.

Responsibilities

Stay on script for the scenario without adlibbing or changing the scope of the scenario.
Wear clothing, including costuming and headgear, appropriate to the significance of the scenario training.
Operate various military weapons systems and fire marking cartridge weapons, paintball type weapons systems, and blank ammunition after being instructed on the safe use of weapons.
Act as Opposing Force (OPFOR).
Be engaged with marking cartridge weapons.
Be physically fit with no physical limitations or preexisting medical conditions that would preclude them from working in an austere environment and during the hours of darkness.
Be familiar with basic weapons handling including safety.
Be able to be restrained/zip-tied for prolonged periods of time.
Be comfortable with having trainees frisk and search them while they are restrained.
Be able to stand and lay prone for extended periods of time with and without restraints.
Participate in scenario training where they should expect to be shot at with non-lethal marking ammunition (Simmunitions, UTM, or paintballs) while wearing safety equipment (personal protective equipment).
Wear safety equipment consisting of a full-face helmet, throat guard, and groin guard.
