General Role Player / OPFOR - TRENTON, NJ
About The Position
We are seeking Role Players to support a military tactical training exercise. Role Players will be required to stay on script for the scenario, wear appropriate costuming, and operate various military weapons systems including firing marking cartridge weapons, paintball type weapons systems, and blank ammunition after instruction. They will act as Opposing Force (OPFOR) and may be engaged with marking cartridge weapons. The role requires physical fitness with no limitations that would preclude working in an austere environment or during hours of darkness. Role Players must be familiar with basic weapons handling and safety, be able to be restrained/zip-tied for prolonged periods, and be comfortable with trainees frisking and searching them while restrained. They must be able to stand and lay prone for extended periods, with or without restraints, and participate in scenario training where they can expect to be shot at with non-lethal marking ammunition while wearing safety equipment (personal protective equipment) including a full-face helmet, throat guard, and groin guard.
Requirements
- Be 18 years or older.
- Be a US Citizen and can provide proof.
- Have a valid driver's license.
- Be physically fit with no physical limitations or preexisting medical conditions that would preclude them from working in an austere environment and during the hours of darkness.
- Be familiar with basic weapons handling including safety.
Nice To Haves
- Military/Law Enforcement experience/background preferred.
Responsibilities
- Stay on script for the scenario without adlibbing or changing the scope of the scenario.
- Wear clothing, costuming, and headgear appropriate to the scenario.
- Operate various military weapons systems and fire marking cartridge weapons, paintball type weapons systems, and blank ammunition after instruction.
- Act as Opposing Force (OPFOR).
- Be engaged with marking cartridge weapons.
- Work in an austere environment and during the hours of darkness.
- Handle weapons safely.
- Be restrained/zip-tied for prolonged periods.
- Be frisked and searched by trainees while restrained.
- Stand and lay prone for extended periods with and without restraints.
- Participate in scenario training where they will be shot at with non-lethal marking ammunition while wearing safety equipment.
- Wear safety equipment including a full-face helmet, throat guard, and groin guard.
Benefits
- $26/hour
- $208 daily flat rate incentive for completion of a full, no-default contract, even if fewer than 8 hours worked each day.
