About The Position

The ROI Dock Security Checkpoint Lieutenant supervises small groups of guards or assumes positions requiring greater responsibility. This role handles all personnel and visitors arriving to or departing from Roi-Namur by marine vessels. The Lieutenant ensures adequate manning for mission activities, that all assigned guard posts are staffed, and monitors the performance of assigned guard force personnel. They also ensure all guard personnel are aware of and abide by all Post and general orders.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must have an active U.S. Secret Clearance
• Minimum 3 years of security management experience in supervisory and/or management roles
• Must obtain USAKA “B” Boat certification NLT 30 days after assuming duties.

Nice To Haves

• ASIS CPP certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises small group of Local National (LN) Access Control Officers
• Ensures adequate manning is provided during mission activities
• Ensures that all assigned guard posts are staffed, monitoring performance of assigned guard force personnel
• Ensures that all guard personnel are aware of and abide by all Post and general orders
