Business area Mining is a global leading supplier of equipment and tools, parts, service, digital solutions and sustainability-driving technologies for the mining and construction industries. Applications include rock drilling, rock cutting, loading and hauling, tunneling and quarrying. The Rock Drill/Components Exchange Driver supports the Rock Drill/Components exchange and rebuild recovery program by providing safe, reliable, and customer-focused pickup and delivery of rock drills, components, related parts, tooling, and documentation between customer sites, the Elko branch, and other approved locations. This role is intended to improve customer responsiveness, reduce logistics barriers, support uptime, strengthen site-level engagement, and help Sandvik recover and grow Rock Drill/Components rebuild market share through a visible, dependable service presence. This role is primarily based out of the Elko branch and supports customer mine sites, warehouses, workshops, and approved delivery locations throughout the Elko region and surrounding service territory. Work includes regular driving, customer site visits, loading and unloading coordination, use of PPE, exposure to mine-site and industrial environments, and occasional schedule flexibility to support urgent customer needs. The employee must be able to safely operate an assigned vehicle, secure loads, follow customer site requirements, lift and move materials within safe limits, and work both independently and as part of the Rock Drills, Parts & Services, Warehouse, Workshop, and Field Service teams.
