About The Position
Tutor Intelligence is a robotics research and deployment company that builds robot hardware and artificial intelligence. The Robotics Research Scientist develops AI algorithms and systems that enable new robot capabilities in laboratory and field settings. The role focuses on solving foundational robotics problems and creating software that enables robots to perform useful work in the physical world. Team members have flexibility to shape their roles around their skills and the needs of frontier robotics development. The team works collaboratively and may work in factory or warehouse environments.
Requirements
- Exceptionally strong programming skills and comfort in one or more programming languages.
- Ability and enthusiasm to collaborate closely in a team setting.
- Interest in the future of robotics and a reshaped physical economy.
- Willingness to enter factories or warehouses.
Nice To Haves
- Advanced proficiency with Python and/or TypeScript and React.
- Experience with robot arms or manipulation.
- Experience with motion planning and robot optimization.
- Experience with perception or computer vision, deep learning or classical methods.
- Experience with infrastructure and developer tools such as systemd, Docker, or Kubernetes.
- Experience with hardware and software integration.
Responsibilities
