About The Position

The Robotics Program Assistant Coach will assist the Robotics Program Head Coach in overseeing assigned teams participating in the Robotics Program/Clubs at Heritage Christian School. This role requires a Christian with an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ, who agrees with the HCS Statement of Faith, Charter of Core Values, and Employee Covenant. The position involves mentoring students, managing program activities, and representing the school professionally within the community.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or education is desired.
• Prior experience in the field of engineering and/or teaching STEM with school aged students is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist with registration, organization, and overseeing competitions held on and off-site.
• Attend all on-campus Robotics events for the assigned team.
• Organize, attend, and oversee meetings, practices, scrimmages, and competitions.
• Assist with scheduling student representatives for Robotics displays at Open House events.
• Oversee the updating of the Open House Robotics display as needed.
