About The Position
A Robot Service Technician is needed in Flagstaff, Arizona, to help build, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair self-driving delivery robots at Northern Arizona University. This is a full-time, on-site contract role paying $25–$28 per hour, with benefits.
Requirements
- Experience in automotive, mechanical, manufacturing, electronics, or technician work.
- Comfort with mechanical and electrical work.
- Ability to read basic mechanical drawings.
- Good computer skills.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean MVR for the past 12 months.
Nice To Haves
- Soldering experience.
- Background as an Automotive Technician, Service Technician, Electronics Technician, Manufacturing Technician, or Maintenance Technician.
Responsibilities
- Assemble cables, wiring, and robot components.
- Install and replace cameras, LiDAR, and sensors.
- Perform basic mechanical and electrical repairs.
- Troubleshoot batteries, wiring, and mechanical parts.
- Use hand tools and electrical testing equipment.
- Assist with testing and field support.
