About The Position
The Robot/PLC Programmer will provide onsite production support for automated FANUC robotic cells and Allen-Bradley PLC-controlled systems in Three Rivers, Michigan. This is a one-month contract, with an ideal start date of November 2nd. First- and second-shift availability is offered. Per diem is included for non-local candidates.
Requirements
- Hands-on programming experience with both FANUC robots and Allen-Bradley PLCs, including RSLogix/Studio 5000.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in a live production environment.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and work safely around automated equipment.
Responsibilities
- Provide onsite production support for automated FANUC robotic cells and Allen-Bradley PLC-controlled systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve robot and PLC faults to minimize downtime.
- Modify and optimize robot paths and PLC logic as production needs change.
- Work with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to keep lines running at rate.
- Support process improvements and document program changes.
