Roadway Transportation Engineer
About The Position
Arcadis is seeking a self-motivated, enthusiastic Transportation Design Engineer in their Columbus, OH office. The Transportation Group delivers "best in class" technical and innovative solutions to clients on the design, delivery, and management of critical resources for state, municipal, and design-build clients. This role offers the opportunity to work with and be mentored by experienced technical professionals on impactful infrastructure projects, providing a chance to gain a deeper understanding of the industry. The position is within the global business area of Mobility, which focuses on designing thriving and connected cities and communities that enable opportunity and facilitate movement. They address evolving demands from a growing global population by designing connected, sustainable solutions that integrate existing infrastructure with new technologies to optimize the mobility of people and goods.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Nice To Haves
- Experience with CADD related software packages such as Microstation, OpenRoads Designer, and AutoCAD
Responsibilities
- Must have experience and/or educational background in civil engineering
- Must possess the ability to work on multiple unique assignments simultaneously
- Must have excellent communication skills, written and verbal, and be able to convey information to other disciplines
