Requirements

  • One year as a Roadway Programs Technician 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration)
  • One year of experience in analysis of data utilized in planning and scheduling of work, materials and equipment, and an Associate's Degree in the field of Business Administration, Computer Science, Highway Engineering Technology or closely related program
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training
  • Meet the PA residency requirement
  • Be able to perform essential job functions

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the county coordinator by inspecting damage to state property and determining necessary repairs
  • Enter information into the plant maintenance system to support invoice processing and documentation
  • Coordinate accident claims, gather information, and provide data to assist with claim reviews
  • Evaluate serious accident reports, conduct field views, take photos, and compile electronic reports
  • Visit contractor work sites to verify that ongoing work meets required contract standards
