Requirements

  • One year of experience as a Roadway Programs Specialist or Roadway Programs Technician Supervisor (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or Three years of experience in the analysis, development, and implementation of methods and techniques used in a roadway maintenance management system; and an associate's degree in a field of business administration, computer science, highway engineering technology or closely related program ; or One year of experience in the analysis, development, and implementation of methods and techniques used in a roadway maintenance management system; and a bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or civil engineering related discipline ; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Possession of a valid PA non-commercial Class C driver’s license or equivalent.
  • Meet the PA residency requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee roadway maintenance functions for county operations
  • Assist with preparing and monitoring the Annual Work Plan and related improvement programs
  • Prepare and review budget information, track funding levels, and recommend adjustments
  • Manage material needs, stock levels, and purchasing activities for county maintenance
  • Analyze reports and system data to evaluate progress, schedule work, and support decision-making
  • Direct clerical and technical support tasks related to payroll, purchasing, and documentation

Benefits

  • Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $59,345 (before taxes).
