Requirements

• One year as a Roadway Programs Technician 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
• One year of experience in analysis of data utilized in planning and scheduling of work, materials and equipment, and an Associate's Degree in the field of Business Administration, Computer Science, Highway Engineering Technology or closely related program; or
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Meet the PA residency requirement.
• Be able to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Handle purchases for equipment, fuel, services, utilities, as well as building and grounds maintenance
• Monitor rented equipment bids, request building materials, and ensure availability for maintenance projects
• Conduct inventory counts at stockpiles and maintain winter service material databases
• Gather and analyze information for maintenance efficiency measures, charts, and reports
• Manage materials components within database systems and direct purchasing, storage, and issuing of parts
• Prepare items for surplus or transfer and recommend actions for unusable materials
