About The Position

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Roadway Civil Engineering Intern – Summer 2027 to join our Miami, FL office. This role involves providing administrative and operations support to Roads & Highways Engineering staff, collaborating with engineers on Roadway plan production tasks, performing simple drafting and CAD/ORD assignments, and assisting in the compilation of design data and preparation of construction plans.

Requirements

• Must be a Junior pursuing a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Summer 2027).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, or OpenRoads Designer

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and operations support to Roads & Highways Engineering staff
• Collaborate with engineers on Roadway plan production tasks
• Performs simple drafting and CAD/ORD assignments following detailed instructions
• Assist in the compilation of design data and the preparation of construction plans
