About The Position

They are seeking a Roadside Recovery Mechanic in Glasgow to attend, assess, and repair minor vehicle breakdowns on the roadside, ensuring vehicles can safely return to the depot. Requirements

Familiarity with mechanical repair techniques and the use of diagnostic equipment
Valid UK driving license
Willingness to learn
Great attention to detail

Level 2 SVQ in mechanics
PCV Licence

Responsibilities

Attend and repair bus breakdowns in and around the Glasgow area, driving a company vehicle
Book out parts from the stores department when required
Deliver a high standard of repair/temporary repair to get buses back to the depot
Complete accurate breakdown records, keeping paperwork up to date and correctly completed
Carry out any other duties that may be deemed suitable by the engineering manager
