About The Position

We are seeking a Roadside Commercial Tire Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for changing primarily commercial tires, including loader and farm tires, but may also involve changing passenger, light truck, ATV, and lawn and garden tires. The technician will perform tire repairs, replacements, and general service to tires and wheels, ensuring all tasks are completed safely and efficiently. A strong commitment to customer satisfaction and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities are essential.

Requirements

Driver's License & clean driving record required
DOT Medical card required

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
Commercial Driver's License preferred
Automotive roadside experience preferred

Responsibilities

Change primarily commercial tires, loader and farm tires, and may change passenger, light truck, loader, farm, ATV and/or lawn and garden tires.
Perform tire repairs, replacements, and general service to tires and wheels.
Remove or replace mounted tire assembly from vehicles.
Recognize repairable tires and properly perform repair, and discard tires that are not repairable.
Communicate all work performed via legible writing on tags, work orders and/or invoices.
Perform all tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
Use all provided safety equipment such as gloves, jack stands, wheel chocks, air cages, safety glasses and communicate equipment needs.
Report all tools or equipment that need repair or that are broken and report all unsafe actions, problems or abnormal situations to the store manager or safety manager.
Perform daily maintenance of tools and equipment.
Review service work orders for complete information such as required customer information, repairs, mounts, new tires, valves before giving to the store manager.
Ensure that all products leave with proper paperwork.
As needed, perform miscellaneous job duties to ensure prompt services to our customer.
Make customer satisfaction a number one priority, be flexible and understand that job priorities will constantly change due to customer needs.
