About The Position

Pomp’s Tire Service is hiring a Roadside Commercial Tire Technician to perform repair, inspection, and maintenance work on commercial customer tires in an outdoor environment. The role responds to roadside service calls and provides tire service for commercial vehicles, working independently in various weather conditions and supporting team operations as needed.

The position offers eligibility for labor commissions and overtime pay, enrollment in medical, dental, vision, and supplemental insurance plans, a 401(k) with company match, paid holidays, sick time, vacation, and special “Happy Days” for life events starting on day one. Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment driver screening.
• Willingness to work night shifts, overtime, and non-standard hours with minimal supervision.
• Ability to safely change and repair commercial tires on the road in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 150 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to roadside service calls to change and replace tires on commercial vehicles.
• Mount, dismount, and replace tires efficiently while on the road.
• Inspect tires and vehicles to identify additional issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper care of tools and equipment.
• Work independently in all weather conditions to provide roadside tire service.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned to support team operations.
