About The Position

Pomp’s Tire Service is hiring a Roadside Commercial Tire Technician to repair, inspect, and maintain commercial customer tires in an outdoor environment. The technician responds to roadside service calls and performs tire service on commercial vehicles, working independently in all weather conditions and with minimal supervision. The role may require night shifts, overtime, and non-standard hours.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment driver’s screening.
• Willingness to work night shifts, overtime, and non-standard hours with minimal supervision.
• Ability to safely change and repair commercial tires on the road in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 150 pounds occasionally.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred experience with commercial vehicles.
• Preferred general mechanical skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to roadside service calls to change and replace tires on commercial vehicles.
• Mount, dismount, and replace tires efficiently while on the road.
• Inspect tires and vehicles thoroughly to identify additional issues.
• Keep the work environment clean and organized and properly maintain tools and equipment.
• Provide roadside tire service independently in all weather conditions.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned to support team operations.
