About The Position

Pomp’s Tire Service is hiring a Roadside Commercial Tire Technician to repair, inspect, and maintain commercial customer tires in an outdoor environment. The role responds to roadside service calls and provides tire service for commercial vehicles, working independently in all weather conditions and with minimal supervision. The technician is also responsible for maintaining tools and equipment and supporting team operations with additional assigned tasks.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment driver screening.
• Willingness to work night shifts, overtime, and non-standard hours with minimal supervision.
• Ability to safely change and repair commercial tires on the road in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 150 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to roadside service calls to change and replace tires on commercial vehicles.
• Mount, dismount, and replace tires efficiently while on the road.
• Inspect tires and vehicles thoroughly to identify additional issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Provide roadside tire service independently in all weather conditions.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned to support team operations.
