About The Position

A Road Service Technician at Reading Truck performs road service on auxiliary (after-market) mobile hydraulic equipment. The role also includes completing repairs, maintenance, welding, and fabrication on returned customer equipment at the shop as needed. The technician diagnoses and troubleshoots problems and develops standardized repair procedures for recurring warranty issues. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Prior experience with mechanical and hydraulic repair.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to work non-traditional schedules as workload requires.
• Must have their own tools.

Nice To Haves

• Welding experience.
• 12-volt electrical experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform road service on auxiliary (after-market) mobile hydraulic equipment.
• Complete repair, maintenance, welding, and fabrication on returned customer equipment at the shop as needed.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems.
• Develop standardized repair procedures to address duplicate warranty issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
