About The Position

The Road Mechanic maintains and repairs ADMAR-owned and customer-owned equipment. The role involves responding to service calls at customer sites, diagnosing equipment issues, and completing inspections, repairs, and installations. The mechanic ensures repairs are completed promptly, reports equipment repair issues to the Service Manager, and completes required paperwork in a timely manner.

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of experience in the service repair industry; experience repairing construction (heavy) equipment is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and DOT medical card.
• Knowledge of gas engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with a high level of complexity.
• Flexibility to meet customer needs.

Nice To Haves

• Experience repairing construction (heavy) equipment.

Responsibilities

• Drive a repair truck to customer sites in response to service calls.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform inspections, repairs, and installations efficiently.
• Ensure equipment is repaired in a timely manner.
• Perform complete equipment inspections and report repair issues to the Service Manager.
• Complete all required paperwork in a timely manner.
