This includes transporting, placing, removing, stockpiling, and distributing aggregates, liquids, dirt, equipment, and other materials for road maintenance activities. Compacting roadways, snow removal, and sanding operations are included. The role also operates a variety of other construction-related equipment, power tools, and hand tools, and performs manual labor as needed, including traffic control and routine preventative maintenance on equipment. Road Maintenance Technician I is an Entry-Level position, while Road Maintenance Technician II is a Journey-Level position.
