About The Position

Bristol Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Emergency Department in a weekend Baylor role. The nurse provides compassionate, quality care and service to patients while upholding Bristol Health’s values of Communication, Accountability, Respect, and Empathy. The position requires completion of unit-based competencies and may involve floating or reassignment to another department, unit, office, or location as needed. Requirements

• BSN or Associate Degree.
• Current Connecticut RN license in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), ACLS, and PALS.
• Complete general orientation at hire and annual Fire/Safety/Infection Control education.
• Hold Health Care Provider CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
• Successfully complete training programs determined by the Education & HRD department and required unit-based competencies.
• Strong team skills.
• Willingness to float or be reassigned to another department, unit, office, or location as needed.
• Meet the role’s physical requirements, including repeated lifting of more than 50 pounds throughout the workday.

Nice To Haves

• One year of clinical nursing experience in an acute or subacute care environment.
• Certification from a professional nursing body.
