About The Position

The RN works in a Med Surg inpatient setting and consults and coordinates with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. The role includes administering and recording prescribed medications, monitoring and reporting adverse reactions, educating patients on surgical procedures, and recording patients’ medical information and vital signs.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience.
• COVID vaccine required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required.

Responsibilities

• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications, including oral, subcutaneous, and IV medications.
• Report adverse reactions to medications or treatments.
• Educate patients on surgical procedures.
• Record patients’ medical information and vital signs.
