This role is for the Nurse Residency Program - 2026 Winter Class Graduates. TMH offers NRP cohorts starting every quarter to best fit your needs. Requirements

Students may apply during their last semester of nursing school.
New graduates who are licensed in the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse.
New graduates who are waiting to take the NCLEX.
Florida-licensed RNs with less than six months of experience as a registered nurse in an acute care setting.
Submit your application and updated resume to the NRP application cohort corresponding to your graduation.
Conduct in-person interviews with units of interest and nursing leadership.
Successful completion of a drug screen, background check, reference verification, health assessment, and credential/license verification.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience or completed preceptorship in a specialty area may allow for placement in specialty units (Cardiac Progressive Care Unit, Critical Care, Surgical Services, Emergency Services, Women's & Children's Services). Placement is extremely limited & subject to change.

Responsibilities

Provide care to patients within a 22-county region in North Florida and South Georgia.
Work within a 772-bed acute care hospital, serving as the region's healthcare leader and top provider of advanced care.
Potentially work in specialized units such as Level II Trauma Center, Primary Stroke Center, Level III Neonatal Intensive Care, Pediatric Intensive Care, or advanced cancer, heart and vascular, orthopedic & surgery programs.
Participate in a Nurse Residency Program (NRP) cohort.
Provide direct patient care as a Registered Nurse.
