About The Position
MTC is hiring an RN to provide clinical care to students at the Inland Empire Job Corps Center in San Bernardino, California. The RN treats and helps prevent minor injuries and illnesses, ensures students receive medical care, and provides information and guidance promoting their health and well-being. The role is PRN, with a schedule that varies based on need, and pays $47.00 per hour. The posting states there are no nights, weekends, or holidays.
Requirements
- Valid, unrestricted RN license in the state of employment.
- CPR and BLS certification.
- Valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.

- Experience working with youth in a paid or unpaid capacity.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to students as authorized by the medical provider and within the scope of the state-specific nurse practice act.
- Supervise LPNs/LVNs to ensure compliance with state regulations, scope of practice, and the applicable nurse practice act.
- Provide basic health care to students as required by the Department of Labor, including entry requirements and immunizations.
- Monitor students who are ill and unable to attend class.
- Treat and help prevent minor injuries and illnesses, and provide information and guidance promoting students’ health and well-being.
