About The Position
Asbury is hiring a PRN Registered Nurse at its Springhill facility. The RN provides individualized care that meets residents’ physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychosocial needs. The role includes handling resident orders and status changes, guiding CNAs and LPNs, completing admission assessments and paperwork, and preparing and administering medications and treatments as needed. The posting describes a supportive care environment with safe resident-to-nurse ratios and engaged leadership. Compensation is up to $47.52 per hour, plus a $3 per hour PRN premium; a shift differential may apply depending on the schedule.
Requirements
- Two years of Medical/Surgical, rehabilitation, or geriatric nursing experience.
- Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license.
- Current CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized care that meets residents’ physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychosocial needs.
- Obtain and promptly transcribe written and telephone orders, ensuring telephone order forms are complete.
- Notify the physician and responsible party of changes in a resident’s status.
- Provide leadership and guidance to CNAs and LPNs and ensure policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations are followed.
- Complete new-admission paperwork promptly, including the nursing assessment.
- Prepare and administer medications and treatments as needed.
