About The Position
Niagara Hospice is seeking a compassionate registered nurse to join its Hospice House team on a per diem basis. The role provides expert symptom management and caregiver relief to patients and families in a facility-based, 26-bed hospice house. The position follows a night-shift schedule of 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., every third weekend on Friday and Saturday nights.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- New York State RN licensure.
- An empathetic approach to helping others.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of nursing experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert symptom management to patients.
- Provide caregiver relief to patients’ families.
- Deliver bedside nursing care in the Hospice House.
