About The Position
Gateway Rehab Center (GRC) is seeking a PRN registered nurse for its Center Township, Pennsylvania location. The schedule will vary. Nurses provide direct patient nursing care, including medication administration and therapeutic treatments, in an extended care facility treating people with substance use disorders. The role includes documenting nursing observations and care, participating in nursing-care planning and evaluation, coordinating with GRC departments, and providing patient health education. The nurse must be able to perform necessary medical interventions and exercise sound judgment, decision-making, and leadership in nursing-related patient care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current state licensure as a registered or practical nurse.
- CPR certification.
- Skill and physical ability to perform necessary medical interventions when needed.
- Good judgment, decision-making, and leadership skills necessary to take responsibility for nursing-related patient care.
- PA Criminal Background Check.
- Obtain PA Child Abuse and FBI Fingerprinting Clearances.
- Pass a drug screen.
- Complete a 2-Step TB Test.
Nice To Haves
- Two years’ experience in the nursing field preferred.
