About The Position

RAMC is seeking a registered nurse to join its UW Outreach clinic. The position is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The nurse performs procedures after completing specified clinic training, manages workload priorities using clinical knowledge and individual patient records, and uses available educational materials. The role also involves maintaining clean and uncluttered surroundings, appropriately initiating and using assistive devices while instructing patients, and using verbal and non-verbal communication to identify and meet patient needs. The nurse works in a clinical patient environment with appropriate technological support and interacts professionally and promptly with patients seeking medical assistance in the clinic or by telephone. Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Hold current licensure as a registered nurse in Wisconsin.
Be BLS certified.
Meet health requirements.
Be able to work in a clinical patient environment with appropriate technological support.
Be able to manage multiple priorities calmly.
Have decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Have organizational skills.
