About The Position

Atrium Health Digestive Health Gastroenterology and Hepatology – Huntersville is an ambulatory clinic providing comprehensive gastroenterological care for adults. Its multidisciplinary team offers an Inflammatory Bowel Disease clinic, colonoscopies, endoscopies, advanced motility testing, ERCP, EUS, and supportive services such as acupuncture, GI psychology, and nutrition counseling. The Registered Nurse provides and coordinates comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. The RN uses evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and communication skills while helping create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. This is a full-time outpatient position with a Monday–Friday schedule, generally 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with a potential schedule of 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

Requirements

Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
A Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Nice To Haves

One year of RN experience; prior ambulatory care experience is preferred.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
