About The Position

Southcoast Health is seeking an RN for its Med Surg/Tele unit at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford, Massachusetts. The position is scheduled for 36 hours per week on an evening/night shift, 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with weekend and holiday rotation. Under the direction of the Manager, Patient Services or the designee for the assigned unit, the RN coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching, and provides leadership through cooperation with ancillary nursing and other patient-team personnel. The role supports professional nursing practice standards within the assigned patient care unit and requires the knowledge and skills to provide age-appropriate care for the patient groups regularly served. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent.
Current RN licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19, or qualify for an exemption for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying the choice to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

Three months of experience is preferred.
