About The Position
Family Pillars Homecare is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) for visits and shifts in Port St. Lucie, Florida, and surrounding areas. This role involves performing skilled nursing visits, including start of care, wound care, IV administration, medication management, and patient assessments. Additionally, RNs will carry out shift-based care for patients requiring extended clinical support, monitor and document patient condition and progress, collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to update care plans, and maintain accurate records in compliance with HIPAA. Upholding infection control standards and agency protocols is also a key responsibility.
Requirements
- Valid RN or LPN Florida Nursing License or Compact License
- Valid Basic Life Support Card
- Florida Required CEUs
- Physical Health Form within the last 6 months
- Copy of a negative TB skin test results, chest x-ray or Quantiferon-TB Gold Blood Test results (QFT-Plus)
- Level 2 Background Clearance to verify in ACHA
- Speak English clearly
- Good driving record
- Reliable transportation and proof of car insurance
