The Account Development Liaison is responsible for all activities designated to increase referrals/admissions and enhancing relationships with referral sources. These activities may include, but are not limited to; education, marketing, public relations, customer service, and assistance in patient referral functions to ensure timely access to services. The role involves cultivating, expanding, and maintaining quality professional relationships with new and existing referral sources such as hospitals, physicians, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, home health and companion care agencies. The liaison provides a consistent professional presence in the healthcare community, participating in clinical groups and interacting with referral sources during business hours, as well as weekends, evenings, and holidays to meet required admission goals. This role requires approximately 90% customer-facing time and less than 10% administrative duties. The liaison is responsible for ongoing territory management, ensuring accurate profile information and timely, accurate CRM documentation. They develop data-driven, comprehensive quarterly sales plans focused on strategies for admission and program growth, demonstrating creativity and innovation. A structured call rotation with assigned accounts is maintained, averaging over 50 sales calls per week. New referral sources and businesses are developed within the assigned territory. Ongoing education and data updates, including patient updates, referral/admission outcomes, educational materials, and statistical analysis, are provided to referral sources. The liaison acts as a professional representative for the Organization and a motivated member of the sales team, aligning activities with program initiatives and goals. Consistent, frequent communication with referral sources regarding organizational quality, outcomes, competencies, and differentiators is essential. Exceptional customer service is provided as an account manager, facilitating communication and resolution between customers and team members. The Director of Business Development is kept informed of identified customer concerns. The liaison independently monitors trends related to account growth and loss, developing new business and quickly adjusting to self-correct for year-over-year growth. They strive to improve the Organization's image in the healthcare community, meet or exceed assigned goals, and manage the territory and customer needs efficiently, completing work and documentation accurately and within deadlines.
