Ambulatory Pediatric ENT Office – located @ Lattimore Road – RN 2
About The Position
This is a full-time (40 hours) Registered Nurse position available in a newly built offsite ENT pediatric office located at 125 Lattimore Rd, Rochester, New York. The role involves providing competent direct patient care based on established standards and contributing to unit activities. The nurse will support the enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level, assist peers in patient care services, and may take on expanded roles such as charge nurse, preceptor, or committee member. The patient population is ambulatory and spans non-acute to acute visit needs. The position requires travel to the Greece office one day a week. Requirements
- 2 years of nursing experience.
- Pediatric experience preferred.
- NYS license.
- Well-established base of nursing competency in assessment and evaluation.
- Team player with excellent communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Provision of competent direct patient care based on established standards.
- Contribution to unit activities and support of the care delivery system.
- Support of peers in the delivery of patient care services.
- Assumption of expanded roles which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.
- Patient education.
- Phone triage and coordination of care.
- Assisting with procedural activity.
- Facilitating patient throughput.
- Participation in quality improvement projects.
- Participation in safety initiatives.
