About The Position

Trinity Health Oakland Wound Care Clinic is dedicated to healing wounds, preventing lower limb loss and optimizing outcomes for our patients. As a comprehensive wound healing center, we specialize in the treatment of all types of non-healing and difficult-to-heal wounds including: Amputations Arterial/ischemic ulcers Burns Compromised flaps or grafts Crush injuries Diabetic foot ulcers First and Second-degree burns Infected wounds Non-healing, surgical wounds Post-radiation injury to tissue or bone Pressure ulcers Surgical incisions Traumatic wounds Venous ulcers Vascular and peripheral arterial disease.

Requirements

• Requires current Michigan Nursing License
• Graduation from accredited nursing program

Nice To Haves

• BSN degree preferred or must agree in writing to obtain a BSN within five years

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse is accountable for the management of patient care during a designated timeframe.
• The responsibilities include coordination and evaluation of care, teaching and delegation of patient activities to the other health care team members via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, and the environment.
