About The Position

Corewell Health operates more than 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, with primary care and specialty practices serving communities throughout the state. The RN Wound Care role is based in the Wound Care department at Big Rapids Hospital. The nurse delivers accountable nursing care in accordance with American Nurses Association standards and Michigan law, using the nursing process to assess, diagnose, identify outcomes, plan, implement, and evaluate care. The role also upholds professional performance standards and strives to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Nursing.
• Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• One year of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care responsibly and accountably in accordance with American Nurses Association standards and Michigan law.
• Use the nursing process to assess, diagnose, identify outcomes, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Uphold professional performance standards, including ethical and culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice and research, quality of practice, professional practice evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health.
