About The Position

The clinical nurse, practicing within the ANA scope of practice, uses the nursing process to provide professional nursing care and incorporates patient- and family-centered care principles. The Clinical Nurse provides quality patient care under the direction of Nursing and Operational Leadership and in accordance with policies and procedures in an ambulatory setting.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an associate degree (A.D.N.) or equivalent.
• Two years of nursing experience.
• Surgical, OB/GYN, Urology, or Ambulatory nursing experience.
• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support certification.
• If not BSN-prepared, a new graduate or nurse with less than one year of experience must enroll in an accredited BSN program within one year of licensure and complete it within five years.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree (B.S.N., M.S.N., or DNP/PhD).
• Specialty certification.
