About The Position
The Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) works in the Urology Clinic at the CUMC-Bergan campus, located near 77th and Mercy. The RN delivers compassionate, high-quality care and contributes to patients’ well-being and recovery by providing individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, and implementing patient care plans. The role involves collaboration within an interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment focused on patient outcomes. Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license that allows practice in the state.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Responsibilities
- Perform general nursing care according to established clinic workflows.
- Perform nursing care specific to the specialty of the practice, as applicable.
- Obtain and document health history, chief complaint information, vital signs, and health risk factors; assess disease conditions.
- Provide patient care according to practice guidelines, standards of care, and federal and state laws and regulations.
- Educate patients and families about health status, health maintenance, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
- Perform other duties within the scope of the role as assigned.
