About The Position

This role involves utilizing the nursing process to provide patient care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. The Registered Nurse (RN) will collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate medical and nursing management, perform emergency treatments, maintain accurate documentation, communicate effectively with the healthcare team, and promote patient and staff safety. The position also includes performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Informs and involves Clinic Nurse Manager.
  • Completes patient and family education.
  • Performs emergency treatment as required.
  • Initiates or assists in patient care.
  • Triages emergency situations appropriately.
  • Administers and performs emergent care.
  • Follows emergency policies, procedures and protocols.
  • Performs and maintains documentation.
  • Documents accurate and ongoing assessments of patient status, patient responses, and patient teaching.
  • Communicates and collaborates effectively with other health team members.
  • Identifies and recognizes abnormal symptoms/changes in patient condition.
  • Appropriately reports condition changes to medical provider.
  • Promotes and ensures patient and staff safety.
  • Administers medications, treatments and procedures in a timely and safe manner.
  • Performs standard precautions.
  • Uses two patient identifiers.
  • Utilizes proper body mechanics, transfer/lifting techniques.
  • Implements infectious disease controls as appropriate.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Triages emergency situations appropriately and involves other resources as needed.
  • Administers and performs emergent care for various patient populations (newborn to geriatrics).
  • Follows emergency policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Documents accurate and ongoing assessments of patient status, responses, and teaching.
  • Communicates and collaborates effectively with other health team members.
  • Identifies and recognizes abnormal symptoms/changes in patient condition, establishes priorities, and takes appropriate action.
  • Appropriately reports condition changes to medical providers.
  • Promotes and ensures patient and staff safety.
  • Administers medications, treatments, and procedures safely according to orders and policy.
  • Performs standard precautions and uses two patient identifiers.
  • Utilizes proper body mechanics, transfer/lifting techniques to minimize fall risk and injury.
  • Implements infectious disease controls, including isolation procedures and proper use of hand washing and gloves.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
