About The Position

Great opportunity in the Wound/Ostomy Center at Rice Memorial Hospital! Under the direction of the Department Director, oversees the planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care delivery. Provides direct and indirect patient care while supervising unit staff, daily operations, and ancillary personnel in accordance with professional nursing standards. Supports departmental and organizational goals through leadership, mentorship, education, and quality improvement initiatives. Partners with the Department Director to develop, evaluate, and maintain staff performance and clinical operations within the patient care unit.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current RN licensure in the State of Minnesota.
  • Minimum of two years of clinical experience in Wound Care preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, physicians, employees, public and other providers.
  • To be eligible for the hiring bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full-time or part-time benefited position.
  • Previous CentraCare employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire.
  • Relocation assistance requirements: Must accept a position that offers benefits.
  • Must currently reside more than 50 miles away from Willmar, Minnesota and relocate to within 30 miles any time before and no later than 120 days after you start work.
  • May not have worked for CentraCare in the past nine months.
