We are currently recruiting a Registered Nurse for OB Triage (in office position) to join us in our Carmel, IN location. This is a PRN position covering a leave for 3 months and then being available to cover vacations and sick days. The person hired will be responsible for ensuring all gyn patients with high quality care following current evidence based guidelines.

Requirements

One year experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in an OB/GYN setting.
A degree from an accredited nursing program
Current Indiana certification as a Registered Nurse
CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of CPT coding and specific lab order sets beneficial
eCW knowledge beneficial

Responsibilities

Answering all urgent and non-urgent incoming obstetric calls
Refilling prescriptions following physician protocols
Review any medical concerns and consult with provider as necessary
Understand general ob concerns and issues
Review general office functionality including hours of operation, after hours calls, and provider call rotation.
Assist and schedule upcoming ultrasounds and appointments
Enter necessary lab orders
Monitor hCG levels
Document all calls and orders in EMR system
