About The Position

The Registered Nurse Triage Nurse is responsible for patient care needs through inbound and outbound telephone practice. This role requires continuous demonstration of positive customer relationship skills by assessing caller needs through active listening, clinical assessment, education, and advanced problem-solving abilities. The nurse will actively manage patients’ immediate and ongoing needs with attention to acute and preventative intervention. This position is initially on-site in Warrenville, IL, and requires the candidate to live in Illinois. After a minimum of one year of employment, there may be an opportunity to work from home/remote if all quality and productivity metrics are met and maintained. Requirements

  • Current Illinois RN licensure
  • Operational knowledge of physician practice
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Possesses professional telephone etiquette skills
  • Must be a team player
  • Must be a self-starter, able to handle frequent periods of high stress and difficult patient situations
  • Must possess excellent time management skills
  • Must possess basic keyboard, computer and internet skills
  • 35 WPM typing proficiency
  • Ability to talk on the phone and type simultaneously
