About The Position

The Registered Nurse assesses human responses and plans, implements and evaluates nursing care for individuals or families for whom the nurse is responsible. The Registered Nurse is fully responsible for all actions as a licensed nurse and is accountable to patients for the quality of care delivered. This role is in West Penn’s Critical Care/Burn Unit, a 14-bed fast-paced unit caring for both Burn and wound patients, including pediatric to adult burn injuries such as frostbite, road rash, autoimmune conditions, chronic skin conditions, and other burn classifications. AHN West Penn Burn Center is the only burn center in Western Pennsylvania verified by the American Burn Association and the American College of Surgeons for both adult and pediatric care, delivering high-quality, comprehensive patient care from injury through rehabilitation. Current State of PA RN licensure OR Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
