About The Position

This role is full time 36 hours a week, rotational (days/nights, weekend requirements) on the Inpatient Post-Surgery unit at West Penn Hospital. This is a 38-bed, non-monitored unit providing post-operative care for bariatric, esophageal, gynecological oncology, surgical oncology, urology, and GI patients following the PACU. Most patients stay on the unit for 4-5 days. West Penn Hospital has achieved Magnet® recognition four times and offers private patient rooms, free employee parking, and a generous benefit package. Requirements

• Current State of PA RN licensure OR Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
• CPR certification
