About The Position

This position is full-time 36 hours per week; rotational (days/nights/weekend requirements). E7 MEDICAL ICU: West Penn's 14-bed Medical ICU (MICU) is a dynamic environment specializing in critical care for a diverse medical patient population. Our nurses provide continuous monitoring and advanced support for patients across a range of medical and respiratory cases, including COPD, CHF, ARDS, Oncology BMT, GI bleed, Acute Respiratory Distress, DKA, ischemic stroke patients, along with others. The unit supports ventilated patients and utilizes Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT). Nurses on this unit also have the opportunity to be trained for the hospital's Rapid Response Team.
